In every investment there is a risk, it is an interrelated relationship, even in the Real Estate Market. The security that originates from a real estate asset doesn't reduce the danger of not fulfilling the investment goals, either those are an yearly return (rent) or an increase on the market price/ resale. To avoid any misunderstanding, any investment on real estate aiming on pure profit or protect the liquidity remains on the top choices of any asset manager till this day, and this is the core business of our office since 2001. However, in the evaluation process, the risk must also be assessed that exists, whether it is linked to the special characteristics of the property or the market/economy in which it is located.
Undoubtedly, the intangible investment market contains a wealth of information and historical data that have evolved into very helpful tools for the interested party to rely on. Perhaps the most well-known is the "investment grade", presented by the rating agencies. However, until today, something similar does not exist for the Real Estate Market.
With respect to the need for more comprehensive information, we proceeded to compile the first Real Estate Investment Tier.
Our office, with over 2 decades of experience in the Greek and international real estate market, completing real estate portfolio assessments but at the same time having helped investors find and/or sell the right property based on their goals and the market situation, we transferred the theoretical as well as our practical knowledge in this study.
