AAA
The highest tier is category AAA, which corresponds to the investment products (be it real estate, sovereign bond, share, etc.) that have the highest possibility to achieve the financial goals and therefore the returns are low.
AA
In the next category AA, an investment is close to the top but there is a measurable risk, which is small, of not achieving the expected goals The returns remain low as so does the risk.
A
Next tier is A, which again is near the top, but just some (2-3) steps below. Here it starts to be clear that the risk of not meeting the investment goals exists, although it is still small but calculable. The returns and obviously the risk are of interest in this position.
BBB
Now we enter tier B, and start to move away from the top. BBB is the first categorisation of tier B, and the forecasts of failure of achievement of the goals of the investment products are low, there is moderate optimism that they will meet the challenges but they are directly affected by the economic conditions of the economy in which they are located. The returns/profit are significant as security is reduced
Each of the basic categories there are also gradations that are separated by the sign + or -, the changes are not always clearly visible but when they exist they are used. Therefore it is not necessary to expect subcategories in each analysis.
BB
We are moving to the level BB, where the expectations for achieving the financial goals are low. There is momentum and optimism, but the challenges that must be faced are high and it is noticeable that the required returns are starting to be higher, as the riskiness also increases.
B
At the lowest end of this category is position B. Now the risk of not meeting targets is evident, insurances are lacking and exposure to risks from the general economic climate is high, with yields in the double digits of 10%.
C
At the end of all the categorizations we also have the C tier. C is basically below the base and the returns at this level are very high as it is difficult if not impossible to achieve the financial goals and the success depends on external factors.
